Editorial standards

A good recommendation needs more than a pretty picture.

These are the checks behind every complete room edit.

01

Start with intent

We define the room, how it is used, natural light, existing pieces and a useful budget direction before selecting anything.

02

Build the full silhouette

We balance scale, proportion, palette, texture and negative space across the room—not item by item.

03

Create an original visual

Our room imagery is editorial visualization, designed to communicate the styling formula without pretending to be retailer photography.

04

Add shopping paths

We link to a named product when verified or to a clearly labeled retailer search for a close alternative.

05

Write the useful part

Every edit explains why the room works and how to adjust scale, placement and styling.

06

Review and refresh

We date our link reviews and treat the retailer page as the source of truth for live stock, dimensions and price.

Commercial relationships

Current shopping links are ordinary retailer links. If a link later earns commission, we will disclose that relationship clearly. Compensation may determine which retailers are available to link, but it does not replace our editorial fit and usefulness standards.
